New York, NY

The city that never sleeps. The Big Apple or even Gotham. New York goes by many names but for nine days this month I called it home. I achieved one of my lifetime dreams to see a sporting event at Madison Square Garden and to watch three major league sports while on vacation. I loved New York, the sights and sounds assault your senses. The city gives you a certain energy level, a feeling of how big the universe really is and just how small we just are. In eight days I saw the Statue of Liberty, Knicks game, Jets game in New Jersey and Ovechkin play the Rangers, Empire State Building, eat dinner in the middle of Times Square, four plays (The Lion King, Chicago, Stomp, Wicked), New Yankee stadium, a comedy show, went to the circus, walked over Brooklyn Bridge and visited famous museums and I still felt that I could have done more. I recommend everyone to visit this great city. I loved it so much that I can't wait to go back.
