No Suit

Personally, I've never felt comfortable in a suit and tie and only wear them when I absolutely have to. So I totally agree this POST by MARK CUBAN about his reasons for not wearing a suit. Thanks for speaking up for all us suit haters MARK.

Temptation

I am absolutely disgusted with myself right now. I can't believe I have such little willpower. A few hours ago I ran two blocks in the rain just to buy a few donuts. I tried to talk myself out of it but was unsuccessful. Then after inhaling those donuts I felt horrible. Now 80% of me regrets eating donuts and the other 20% thinks I should have bought another chocolate glazed one.

Little Miss Sunshine

I watched this indie FILM and consider it to be one of the best movies I have ever seen. I recommend it to anybody and everybody (except children) to check out. It is a beautiful film with a great story, engrossing characters, stunning photography, wonderful acting and a great comedic touch. Trust me; this film will not disappoint you.

Pounds

For fun yesterday I decided to check my weight and I’m glad I did. I didn't realized how many pounds I had put on. I thought my pants were shrinking when I had to squeeze into them a month ago but instead I've put on seven pounds over the past few six months. A desk job, a hectic schedule and an addiction to RAINBOW CHIPS AHOY cookies are to blame.

The Butterfly Effect

A long phone conversation last Thursday with JAMES has had me thinking about the choices I've made over the past few years. We both discussed the regrets and missed opportunities of recent years and if we could turn back the hands of time we would make better decisions knowing what we know now. Unfortunately I can't go back and change time; I can only hope to make better thought out decisions in the present so I don't have as many regrets five years from now.

I've never been a big fan of snow and now I despise it even more after slipping on ice last Friday afternoon. Mind you I was wearing dress shoes so I take some responsibility for the incident but I still blame 51% of the pain I feel when I bend my left arm on the snow.

My coworker told me this story about a guy calling in buying with a credit card. This is how the conversation went:

COWORKER: Sorry sir but your credit card isn't going through.

CUSTOMER: What does that mean.

COWORKER: It comes back declined. The card maybe overlimit.

CUSTOMER: But the lady I stole it from has plenty of money.
