Really?
I just came across this quote and don't know who said it "Men are like bank accounts. Without a lot of money they don't generate a lot of interest." My question is whether this statement is true and if so, how come I don't have more women chasing me?

Deserved
Now, I'm not a violent person, heck I have a better chance of making a home made video with PARIS HILTON than I do of getting into a street fight. But for the past few days (while at work) I’ve been addicted to this WEBSITE of street fights and beat downs. My personal favorite is this VIDEO - these two guys get what they truly deserve.

Creed
Famed UCLA coach JOHN WOODEN'S SEVEN POINT CREED, given to him by his father upon his graduation from grammer school:
1) Be true to yourself.
2) Make each day your masterpiece.
3) Help others.
4) Drink deeply from good books, especially the Bible.
5) Make friendship a fine art.
6) Build a shelter against a rainy day.
7) Pray for guidance and give thanks for your blessings every day.

Old School
I love this VIDEO of the top ten goals scored during the 96-97 NHL season. My personal favorite is the PAVEL BURE goal.

Stupid
Brooke Shields said this during an interview to become spokesperson for a federal anti-smoking campaign "Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life."

Time
The highest compliment you can give someone is your TIME (undivided attention helps too). Why? Because that is something no one gets back.
This was something my grandfather told me many years ago and for some reason I think its something we (humans) take for granted.
So be flattered if someone gives you a call just to say hi or stops to have a conversation with you on the street because they giving you something they won't ever get back again.

Mentor
As an aspiring marketer and communications designer I'm always looking for ideas and insights. I'll be the first to admit that ALEX BOGUSKY of CPB GROUP has shaped my thinking more than anybody and I consider him an out of reach mentor. If your a fan of his, or want to learn more about effective marketing & advertising techniques then check out this video - MAVERICK OF MIAMI.
Lucky Number Slevin
My brother rented this MOVIE over the weekend and I finally got a chance to watch it yesterday. Overall it was really good, the film kept me guessing until the very end and I would recommend it to anyone that enjoys a brain teaser and has an hour and fifty minutes to kill.

Jay Leno
"Go through your phone book, call people and ask them to drive you to the airport. The ones who will drive you are your true friends. The rest aren't bad people; they're just acquaintances."
Kats
I was walking down the street with my gay (there is a reason I'm mentioning that) friend JOSEPH when we came across a really fat white cat. This is how the conversation went: HERMAN: "Look at the size of that cat." JOSEPH: "That thing is huge." HERMAN: "Do you like cats?" JOSEPH: "No, I don't really care much for pussy." I think I busted a gut laughing after he said that.

Kingdom Come
Its official, JAY-Z is back with a new album dropping November 21st. Check out ROCAFELLA.COM to hear the first single "Show Me What You Got" under Heavy Rotation. Personally I'm not really feeling the track, sorry Hov.
Slump
I signed up for SPORTSNET FANTASY HOCKEY this year and am currently in a slump. I know it’s early but my player picking is really off.
That worries me a bit, but another thing that really concerned me was my lame betting ability. About a year ago I bet on Sportsaction and won, a few days ago I bet and I lost all three games - pathetic I agree.
I really hope the hockey gods start smiling down on me because the last thing I need to hear is JOSEPH bragging about how smart he is.

Road Trip
For the first time in over a year I left the city of VANCOUVER. On October 4th at 7:00 am JAMES and I headed out for a road trip to KELOWNA.
We were both told that it would take five hours to get to there but with JAMES’S driving it only took four hours, and that doesn’t include us getting lost in HOPE and a thirty minute pit stop.
Once we arrived in KELOWNA we went Go-Karting, which we could do in VANCOUVER but because there are so many other things to do we don’t. The karting was fun, despite the both of us crashing, it was quite an adrenaline rush.
Across the street from the karting was a miniature golf course. Since neither of us had done it in a while, we thought it would be fun. JAMES played a solid game while my performance was disgusting. It took me four swings to get the windmill shot and JAMES, the show off that he is, hit a hole in one with his left hand.
The rest of the day was mediocre, besides a really hot “I’m sure those are fake” waitress at EARLS there wasn’t much to get excited about.
But overall I enjoyed the trip, just for the sack of leaving and being away for Vancouver it was worth it. Plus, going on a road trip is something JAMES and I have talked about forever and it was nice to finally do it.
Also, the trip did end on an even better good note for me. When we got back we headed to JAMES’S house and played a few games of NHL ’07. I beat him both times and I have to admit I wasn’t too impressed with his sore loser attitude, but regardless I’m up on my season series 3-2!

Esquire
Just read the great news: ESQUIRE NAMES SCARLETT JOHANSSON THE SEXIST WOMEN ALIVE. Unfortunately I've never watched any of her films but after seeing these PICTURES (I'm digging the hourglass figure) I might take a trip to BLOCKBUSTER tomorrow.

First the first time in the history of this blog I'm posting outside of Vancouver. I'm writing this post from KELOWNA, BC. Me and my friend JAMES when on a one day road trip. Tune in tonight and I write of the days events, my thoughts and insight into KELOWNA.

Favorite
I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a favorite commercial. While a lot of people tell me that they hate them, many of them have personal favorite that they love watching over an over again. My personal favorite is this JORDAN AD that aired many years ago and I still remember it. It truly captures the essence of the brand and the man and I personally found it very motivating.
